Vintage Japanese Iron Ikebana Vase Mikazuki Crescent Moon 8" Glossy Peacock glaze 孔雀釉This is a vintage Japanese ikebana vase called a Mikazuki Kabin (Crescent Moon vase). This vase was used in a tokonoma (alcove in a traditional Japanese home) to display flowers. It is made of a heavy iron and has a grass seed head swaying in the breeze.
