medium-bodied palate of pure Cabernet Franc fruit in a Sauvignon frame that is elegant and straight without a hint of strictness

The initial palate sensations are very soft with an excellent balance between tannins and acidity

The tannins are tricky to describe and seem to change shape from gravel to dusty on the finish which is long and shaped like the classic fan

though the wine actually comes from a single vintage

On the palate it is bright and fresh

Chateau Camensac (Haut Medoc) 2010 bical medium-bodied palate of pure CabernetBright red ruby. Medicinal aromas of black cherry, cassis and licorice. Classically dry and cool but with good mid palate texture and ripeness. The medicinal quality carries through to the persistent finish but the tannins avoid coming off as dry. Very successful for this estate.
