Vintage Scratch Acid "Tour '85" Rabid Cat Records Tour Poster LP They were eventually sold toAustin, TX noise rockers Scratch Acid were founded in 1982. After some lineup shuffling, with David Yow moving from bass to vocals after their original singer quit, the band began making records for Austin based label Rabid Cat Records. They released their debut self titled EP in 1984, an eight song effort that notably wound up on Kurt Cobain's favorite albums list. To support the release, the band got out on the road in 1985.
