Constructed of partially silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant starburst, overlaid by a central silvered Saxon coat of arms, the reverse with both attachment loops intact, unmarked, measuring 11 cm (w) x 10. 5 cm (h), with sporadic verdigris visible in addition to a possible repair to the three oclock ray, in very fine condition.
