In silvered iron (magnetic); the obverse constructed of a traditional Brabant cross with a partial knightly armour attached to the front via two rivets on the reverse; on a loop for suspension from a very short period original ribbon accompanied by a slightly longer correct replacement ribbon; maker marked Kumpff on the reverse; measuring 46. 38 mm (w) x 66. 07 mm (h);
