Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a block hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42. 22 mm (w) x 52. 94 mm (h), weighing 14. 0 grams, with total loss of silver finish evident, in fair condition.
