An Army Officer’s Cap Badge, c.1940 GTRexclude which she departed on JanuaryInsignia with a three piece construction, in silvered and gilt aluminum, two headed eagle bearing the monogram of King Peter II, measuring 45. 9 mm (w) x 51. 0 mm (h), red wool backer, affixed to a convex brass base via large prongs, scattered gilt wear, better than very fine. Footnote: Peter II (September 6, 1923 November 3, 1970) was the last King of Yugoslavia, reigning from 1934 to 1945. He was the last reigning member of the Karaorevi dynasty
