A Unique Hj King Widukind Celebration Badge Newly Listed dual prongs and well markedA unique and certainly unusual Hitlerjugend Hitler Youth (HJ) Widukind badge; in silvered bronze; horizontal pinback; maker marked Hoffsttter, Bonn on reverse; measuring 40 mm x 30 mm; better than very fine condition. Footnote: Widukind was a Germanic leader of the Saxons during the Saxon Wars from 777 785 against Charlemagne. He became a hero for German national socialist as the defender of Germanys freedom and independence.
