Constructed of blackened bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing raised double Sig runes situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised number 4, overlaid by an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS), unmarked, measuring 37. 95 mm in diameter, weighing 24. 1 grams, demonstrating loss
