Morocco, Spanish Protectorate. An Order Of Mehdauia, Officer's Badge, C.1955 Newly Listed with an acorn at theOrden de la Mehdauia, Wissam al Mahdawiya. Instituted in 1926. Of local manufacture, in silvered bronze with light blue, dark blue and yellow enamels, measuring 42. 5 mm (w) x 54 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, chipping evident in the enamels on the centrepiece, original ribbon, on a traditional Spanish style horizontal hanger with pinback, very fine.
