The inside of the tunic is lined in a steel blue nylon-cotton blend
each with two rows of silver bullion wire and bluish grey embroidered uppers
Japan, Empire. An Order Of The Chrysanthemum, I Class Sash Newly Listed his headquarters( Dai kun'i kikka sh). Instituted December 25, 1877 by Emperor Meiji of Japan. A full length sash badge in red and dark blue watered silk, with a rosette near the end, measures 880 mm (l folded in half), ribbon connects via a thin hook and ring attached to each side, light creasing, a rare sash which remains in extremely fine condition.
