An Rzm Em/Nco Ss Belt Buckle By Assmann GTRexclude Footnote: The Saint John FusiliersAn RZM EM NCO SS Belt Buckle This steel (magnetic) buckle was produced by the Assmann firm in 1940, which was also the first year that SS EM NCO belt buckles were produced in steel, with SS EM NCO buckle construction in prior years being from nickel and then aluminum and eventually a few were even made in zinc. This buckle shows moderate use, with most of the silver finish present on reverse, and no doubt saw action.
