The group was formed by cousins James Dean Bradfield and Sean Moore and they rounded out the lineup with Nicky Wire. Their intention was to create straight forward British rock n roll, and they did that to much success. They signed to Columbia and began releasing records to critical and commercial acclaim. In 2001, the same year they released their sixth album Know Your Enemy, the
