Verget au Sud Vin de France Chardonnay 2023 bernard-metrat Quince and Granny Smith applesThis wine comes from a number of vineyards in Luberon, the high country of Provence nestled between the Alpes de Haute Provence and the Vaucluse plain. For the most part, the wines fermented and aged in old oak barrels on fine lees for eight months. The result is a creamy textured provenal white with subtle stone fruit and herby notes that speak of the south. Theres some rich, rolling fruit for those who like their Chardonnay with something to hang on
