In silver gilt with red and white enamels, a crown in each quadrant, with the crowned cypher of Frederick IX (1947 1972), measuring 40. 75mm (w) x 81. 00mm (h inclusive of crown suspension), weighs 31. 6 grams, enamels intact, slight gilt wear, missing ribbon, in extremely fine condition.
