A 1672 Commemorative Medal For The Birth Of Peter The Great Auction Archive on fine later period sashConstructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward facing busts of Tsar Alexis and Tsarina Natalya Naryshkina in full imperial regalia, circumscribed by name and title in Latin, the reverse bearing a detailed image of an angelic figure handing a child the Tsarina, in turn flanked by a shield bearing a Romanov coat of arms, circumscribed by a Latin dedication to Russias future and the name and birthdate of the future Tsar Peter I (the
