Vintage Chain Of Strength "Whats Holds Us Apart" Foundation Records T-Shirt Power Pop MotörheadChain Of Strength was a hardcore band from California's Inland Empire. They formed in 1988 and released two 7"s before breaking up, 1988's True Till Death released on Revelation Records and 1990's What Holds Us Apart on Foundation Records. Chain played a style of hardcore that was influenced by early Dischord bands but they did so with a Southern California aesthetic: bleached hair and beach bods and Bold shirts. Chain had some controversy throughout
