Afghanistan, Kingdom. An Order Of The Star, I Class Star Boutonniere Republic of featuring a turned-down collar flanked(Nishan i Astour). Instituted in 1921. Type I (1921 1923). Of European manufacture, a mulitple ray star in silver, with hand etched detailing, reverse with additional hand etching, measuring 19. 8 mm (h), a fine example, extremely fine.
