Baden, Grand Duchy. An Order Of Berthold The First, Collar, C.1910 Auction Archive 18 was a cavalry regiment(Orden Berthold des Ersten, Kette). Instituted 1877. Manufactured as a display example in early 20th Century. In bronze gilt with red and white enamels; the chain consists of seven links depicting Berthold on a horse superimposed on red enamels, seven links depict the royal crown superimposed on red enamels, and fourteen links with a central white enameled pearl; the central Berthold link features a pin on the reverse for the suspension of a badge;
