A First War Portuguese Model 1916 Helmet certificate_of_authenticity 202 mm x 231 mm)A fine example of the rare Portuguese Model 1916 Helmet, in thin stamped steel, presenting the recognizable ribbed design on the crown with ventilation holes around the brim, the interior presents several grommets where a sweatband would have been and the connection for the chin strap (both missing). The helmet measures 313mm (l) x 259 mm (w) x 132 mm (h), exhibiting wear and rusting throughout, missing the interior components, remains near very fine
