These (denazified) awards were issued by the Federal Republic of Germany in 1957 for Veterans wear (as WWII awards were not allowed for wear) and awarded only to the German Veterans entitled to such awards during the War
with 2 Clasps - South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902
later as Midshipman in North America
marked "ROYAL MINT" on the inside lid
