Germany, Wehrmacht. An Afrikakorps Commemorative Ring Hold “24“ in silvery aluminum threads(Afrikakorps Ring). Constructed of a silver alloy (silver made of silver coins) with a thin sheet of solid gold on top, the obverse bearing a rectangular field overlaid by an etched Afrikakorps insignia in the form of a palm tree defaced by a mobile swastika, flanked by initials DAK and a date of 1941, in turn flanked on the band by etched North African imagery, unmarked, corresponding to a size 9. 75, weighing 14. 2 grams, an interesting example
