Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a white enameled disc overlaid by a German Red Cross (DRK) insignia, within a black enameled ring bearing an inscription of DEUTSCHES ROTES KREUZ SCHWESTERNSCHAFT (GERMAN RED CROSS SISTERHOOD), the reverse engraved with an inscription of SAABRCKEN 139, maker marked A. STBBE, BERLIN, measuring 31. 21 mm in
