Bavaria, Kingdom. A Military Memorial Cross For 1813-1814 Auction Archive British Issue(Militrdenkzeichen fr 1813 1814). Instituted 4 December 1814 by King Maximilian Joseph I. (1817 1818 issue). Constructed of blackened and gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central medallion bearing a raised monogram of King Maximilian Joseph, the arms bearing a raised inscription of FR DIE JAHRE 1813 UND 1814 (FOR THE YEARS 1813 and 1814), the reverse with a central
