Using the belt provides greater contact with the resident than normal 2" gait belts which help minimize pressure and friction between the belt and resident by distributing the loads over a greater area. The full 4" width adds comfort, pressure distribution and reduces friction. Three fixed horizontal handles and two vertical sliding
