Melchior, Lauritz - Signed Photo as Siegfried Autographs Singers 50 or less D Lot of 4 full concertDanish (and later american) tenor (1890 1973), he was the most pre eminent Wagnerian tenor for 3 decades starting from the 1920s. Extraordinary large size photo, signed by him, shown as Siegfried in the opera of the same name by Wagner, one of his best roles, inscribed. Photo is mounted on a double acid free mat, together with a clip from a Metropolitan Opera program from 1940 for a performance of Siegfried with Melchior in the title role.
