Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, the converse consisting of a double headed Austria imperial eagle clutching a sword and orb, overlaid by a blue enameled monogram of Emperor Franz I, flanked by green enameled laurel branches, the reverse overlaid by a blue enameled shield bearing an institution date of 1815, set
