Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel, in turn overlaid by an enameled HJ insignia, the eagle circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER 1939, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch,
