The length of the spearheads was approx. 20 cm in early times, later on their length could be up to 60 cm. The so called krkspjt (spear with barbs) had wings at the bottom of the spearhead for several purposes. The length of this Viking spear is 220 cm and the length of the spearhead is 40 cm. The wooden stem in the middle is screwed on.
