Sandbar P09118-P03895 Tiny silver oxide and brightlyIncluding elements of the artist's "Cascade" and "Strata" series, this piece's exterior is composed of lapis, midnight, and pale blue glass chips and powders. The pattern is first laid out on a steel plate, then rolled up and fused to the surface of the glass during the blowing process. The horizontal band is a hot wrap of gray glass chips applied to the surface of the piece. Once finished, the artist then engraves the piece, carving a vertical pass
